Michael S. Mills


Dr. Michael Mills, Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning at the University of Central Arkansas, is a leading expert on the practical uses of educational technology, particularly on using collaborative tools to better engage students and to design strategies for effectively integrating mobile devices in the classroom. He is an SXSWedu, ISTE, and SITE presenter and has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Education Trainer and serves on the advisory boards for SXSWedu and the Apple Distinguished Educator Program for the Americas. Lauren Hobbs


Lauren Hobbs, is a former educator with experience in district and school-based leadership around the design of technology infused learning models and professional learning. With expertise in leveraging curriculum, assessment and instructional assets to support problem based, student centered learning initiatives, she continued to fuel her passion for STEM and creativity, as she designed programs to foster the development of 21st century skills using innovative assets for students of poverty. Currently, as a Manager for Education Strategy for Dell EMC, Lauren works in the field supporting institutions throughout the country in creating learning environments and systems to support digital transformation while leading the creativity solution for the Dell Education team. Lauren has presented at national and state-wide conferences around topics such as STEM Education, personalized learning, developing “Failing Forward” mindsets, innovation and professional learning. She received a BA and Master’s in Elementary Education and second Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida State University.
